so, why is this better than just mastering the track while producing it?

What I don't understand is, when you do this, how will the engineer know the structure of your beat if he gets every sound separate?

Thanks for this! One question though, after the engineer is done mixing each track and sends it back to you, does it come back complete? meaning the beat completely done? or do I just get each track back mastered? If so, does that mean I have to reconstruct the beat again using the mastered tracks?? Sorry for the stupid question, I just never done this before. I do master/mix all of my beats and sounds good but I'm planning on sending my beats to a sound engineer pro and take it to another level.

ok question and im sure alot of people are having this problem. When i throw gross beat on a track in the mixer..and it makes a particular sound i want it to make through out the whole beat or even on multiple tracks cause i use gross beat alot...should i leave it on that track or should i turn it off???
