I have no experience with any of this and my only music experience is with guitar, but recently decided to try expanding my horizons and this is very helpful; any advice for a clueless beginner?

Hi Seamless! It's not just good to have it all in one place... But in a format and language that's understandable for new users.
    Thank you for these tutorials.

This was so helpful!!! I making a mix only I got a little confused at the master volume/sound thing. I have 3 tracks, track 1&2 repeat so that they play twice, and on the third loop, track 3 plays with it. Track 1 is percussion, 2&3 are music tracks. Only 3 plays when it comes in, and 2 doesn't. Help?

fucking 2 minutes of please shut the hell up and get to the point in the beginning there.. didn't even get to anything yet as i'm typing this in here.. jeezus i get that you have to explain things, but damn dude. i'm trying to learn, not listen to you loop a summary over and over for 2 minutes.. hopefully the productive part is fulfilling.

Thanks for your guidance, very helpful. Any production language I do not understand, I google. I appreciate how hard it is to explain a very complex system in its basic form!

My layout is different to yours. How can I change it? It would be helpful to fully follow the rest of your videos.

Good stuff, perfect pace and perfect info for a guy like me who dabbled in Cakewalk / Cubase and got confused by the pattern concept, but a brilliant concept really when you realize you lay down a lot of tracks unnecessary in the other DAW. Keep that pace no risk of getting bored and nodding off!

NEED HELP PLEASE!! My mouse went rogue haywire on me and messed up my composition and functions. Undid most of them, but now the Playback Position Marker does this annoying thing- Normally when you click to another place in the timeline while music's playing, it would start at that point immediately, but Now it waits to finish playing to the end of the bar that it's playing then goes to where I marked it to move to. Does anybody know what menu or setting it went to, so I can change back to standard? Thanks a TON!

    12:20 That cracked me up.
But seriously. This is an excellent tutorial. EXCELLENT. Did I mention excellent? Tutorials are usually so frustrating because they are too slow, focus on useless or obvious things etc. But this is perfect. 15 minutes that gave me a great overview of the software.
